JUDIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Bahasa upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows the principles of transparency, fairness, and accountability in all stages of the publishing process.
1. Responsibilities of Editors
- Ensure a fair and unbiased peer-review process.
- Evaluate manuscripts based solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or institutional affiliation.
- Maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and authors’ information.
- Prevent conflicts of interest by not using unpublished materials for personal research.
- Take appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct, such as plagiarism or data falsification.
2. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.
- Maintain confidentiality of the review process and not share or use manuscript content for personal advantage.
- Identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
- Declare any conflicts of interest and decline to review if impartiality cannot be maintained.
3. Responsibilities of Authors
- Submit original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.
- Ensure accuracy of data, proper citation of sources, and acknowledgment of contributions.
- Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and redundant publication.
- Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
- Obtain necessary ethical approvals for research involving human participants or animals.
- Agree to participate in the peer-review process and revise manuscripts according to reviewers’ suggestions.
4. Responsibilities of Publisher (Soratekno Publisher)
- Safeguard the integrity of the academic record.
- Ensure that editorial decisions are independent and free from commercial influence.
- Support editors in handling ethical issues and misconduct cases.
- Provide clear guidelines on publication fees, copyright, and open access policies.
5. Ethical Misconduct and Handling Procedures
- Cases of plagiarism, falsification, or unethical behavior will be investigated thoroughly.
- Authors found guilty of misconduct may face rejection of their manuscript, retraction of published articles, and notification to their institution.
- Retractions, corrections, or expressions of concern will be issued when necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
6. Open Access Policy
- JUDIKA is committed to open access publishing, ensuring that all articles are freely available to readers worldwide.
- Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right to publish and disseminate their work
